Province to run Diversion – Lake Manitoba to be Impacted

The latest spring flood forecast from the Province raises the risk of flooding in the Assiniboine River and other areas.

Latest Projections show a worst case for Lake Manitoba to be at 813.3 Feet ASL, the Lake is currently at 811.8 Feet ASL. Best case would be a rise to 812.1 Feet ASL.

According to CBC news, Steve Topping has stated the Portage Diversion and the Red River Floodway would be opened, regardless of what weather is seen in the coming weeks.
