Lake Manitoba update: March 13, 2016

Spring has arrived early, and except for Fairford, flows in all the rivers are now rising. Flows on the Assiniboine at Holland jumped from about 1,100 cfs last week to over 1,800 cfs this week. Further downstream at Headingly, Assiniboine flow rose to 1,589 cfs. Flow on the Whitemud is still low (113 cfs) but more than doubled from last week. Waterhen flows (2,012 cfs) are starting to rise as well. Flow at Fairford fell to 4,413 cfs from 4,554 cfs last week.

Lake Manitoba fell slightly to 811.60 feet, down 1/25th of a foot from last week. The level of Lake St. Martin dropped slightly to 800.68 feet.
