Lake Manitoba update: Feb 7, 2016

Lake Manitoba fell slightly this week, and is currently sitting at 811.69 feet, down four hundredths of a foot from last week. The level of Lake St. Martin rose to 800.75 feet. Outflow at Fairford fell modestly to 4,889 cfs. The gauge for the Waterhen River is back online with the flow registering 2,206 cfs. The Whitemud flow remains very low (55 cfs). The gauge on the Assiniboine at Holland was calibrated this week and currently reads 1,839 cfs. The gauge at Headingly was not calibrated and is registering only 1,285 cfs. The difference between the two is probably not real, but a calibration issue.
