Lake Manitoba update: Feb. 28, 2016

Lake Manitoba continues its very slow descent, and is currently sitting at 811.63 feet, down two hundredths of a foot from last week. The level of Lake St. Martin is almost unchanged at 800.73 feet. Outflow at Fairford dropped further to 4,501 cfs. The gauge on the Waterhen River is currently offline. Flow on the Whitemud remains very low at 46 cfs. The gauge on the Assiniboine at Holland was calibrated this week and currently reads 1,154 cfs while the gauge at Headingly is registering 1024 cfs.

Lake Manitoba again fell very slightly this week, and is currently sitting at 811.65 feet, down two hundredths of a foot from last week. The level of Lake St. Martin is almost unchanged at 800.74 feet. Outflow at Fairford remained unchanged from last week at 4,624 cfs. Flow on the Waterhen fell slightly to 2,040 cfs. The Whitemud has almost stopped flowing at 43 cfs. The Assiniboine at Holland continues to fall and currently reads 1,603 cfs while the gauge at Headingly is registering only 964 cfs.

Lake Manitoba fell very slightly this week, and is currently sitting at 811.67 feet, down two hundredths of a foot from last week. The level of Lake St. Martin also fell slightly to 800.73 feet. Outflow at Fairford fell about 260 cfs to 4,624 cfs. Flow on the Waterhen fell slightly to 2,104 cfs. The Whitemud flow remains very low (85 cfs). The Assiniboine at Holland currently reads 1,641 cfs while the gauge at Headingly is registering only 1,112 cfs.

Lake Manitoba fell slightly this week, and is currently sitting at 811.69 feet, down four hundredths of a foot from last week. The level of Lake St. Martin rose to 800.75 feet. Outflow at Fairford fell modestly to 4,889 cfs. The gauge for the Waterhen River is back online with the flow registering 2,206 cfs. The Whitemud flow remains very low (55 cfs). The gauge on the Assiniboine at Holland was calibrated this week and currently reads 1,839 cfs. The gauge at Headingly was not calibrated and is registering only 1,285 cfs. The difference between the two is probably not real, but a calibration issue.
