To: Cheryl Smith
Our Department is taking over the $20,000 from MASC.

This means that we are covering the 14% deductible on the $20,000.

However, our department does not provide any funding for shoreline rock work.

This means that although the $20,000 is still available to eligible landowners in the Lake Manitoba inundation zone with no deductible, the funds can only be used for permanent flood protection works, such as raising, etc.  The funds cannot be used for shoreline rock work.

Let me know if you have any further questions.
